Sync or Swim Dragon Boat Team Raffle Results

Over the past few months, Sync or Swim held a team raffle, which was a huge success thanks to the support of our community. With 474 tickets sold not only in Ladysmith, but throughout the Cowichan Valley, into Nanaimo and beyond, the fundraiser helped us raise $948 that will go directly toward keeping our team strong for the upcoming season.

Every dollar raised helps cover equipment, race fees and travel costs, making it possible for us to keep membership fees accessible and ensure that paddling stays open to everyone in our community. We’re deeply grateful for the generosity of all who purchased tickets and cheered us on.

At practice on Wednesday, September 24, we held the official draw and are thrilled to announce our prize winners:

• 1st Prize – Engraved Paddle: Lana Cheong of Ladysmith

• 2nd Prize – Bayview Gift Basket: Ken Hope of Nanaimo

• 3rd Prize – Chopstix Hair Salon $75 Gift Certificate: Chris McLeod of Nanaimo
