Anchored in Community: The Ladysmith Sail Past 2026.

On Saturday, May 9th, members of our three Ladysmith Dragon Boat Society teams headed to Transfer Beach to participate in the Ladysmith Yacht Club Annual Sail Past

It’s a rare treat to have the 49th Dragons, Sea Dragons, and Sync Or Swim all together in one boat, making for a wonderful morning of camaraderie.

We paddled out to Transfer Beach to salute the Commodore, admire the passing fleet, and enjoy the stirring sounds of bagpipe music.

It really was the perfect way to celebrate the official commencement of the boating season on a stunning West Coast day.
