A Tribute to Theresa Chadwick.

The Sea Dragons recently lost one of our amazing members to a tragic accident. 
She was a very kind, loving person that has been with our team for many years. Her infectious giggle and cheerful personality will really be missed. 
She is well known on our team for her motivational grunts during races; just when you think you can't paddle any harder, you hear Theresa from the back of the boat, and that gets you going again!

We have not yet been together as a team since her passing, but will certainly honour her together when we meet up. 

One of our team members shared a beautiful poem, called Her Journey's Just Begun, which I will quote an excerpt from:

Think how she must be wishing,
that we could know today,
How nothing but our sadness,
can really pass away,
And think of her as living,
in the hearts of those she touched,
For nothing loved is ever lost,
and she was loved so much.

The Sea Dragons and Ladysmith Dragon Boat Society were fortunate to have had Theresa among us, and will carry her memory forward together.
